Tyabrick™ Or Tyacrete™ - Rubber-Concrete Composite Defensive Masonry

Fortified, defensive conctruction and earthquake protection building foundations will all be formulated of 4 fundamental materials elements.


  1. Concrete

  2. Milled, reclaimed consumer car tyre rubber, to course sand consistency

  3. Low malleability, copper carbide reinforcement reo mesh and reo bar.

  4. Mortar will be conctrete and fine milled, reclaimed tyre rubber, to Australian beach sand consistency.


Bricks can be painted or the structure can be rendered.


To ascertain the correct ratios of the subances the most efficient process would be to test the de-formation ™ force of the comoposites for nine calibrations.


Two materials would maintain standard ratios to those of steel reinforced concrete while 1 other material would be presented in 3 distinctive, low, medium and high concentrations. That would result in 9 database scriptable calibrations for 3 sets of material performace variables. Once the variables are programmed, the database records may be cross-tabulated for precise, tailored calibration.


At optimum restistive ratio the polycrete structures will be somewhat flexible and low in brittleness. They will resist multiple relatively high impacts for that reason. Brittle bollards may respond affirmatively to one artillary shell or explosive strike, as opposed to the restorative bollard de-formation of Tyacrete ™. Earthquake proof structures will also rise from the materials innovation.



AltaBrik™ Advanced Double Brick Construction (Including Tyacrete™)


Tyacrete bricks (Tyabrick™) as well as all other bricks perform best in a double brick structure under a uniquely configured arrangement. The second adhered wall should be half a brick height higher or lower than the first. To place the two walls level, the lower wall should be completed with pre-moulded half height bricks of the same brick and mortar materials. That is the world’s most robust double brick configuration in wall construction.
