Decreasing contrast for the focal point of the camera's video recoding to the outermost frame produces one layer of 3 dimensional relief. The second layer is to decrease contrast where the image is from the brighest portion of the redeveloped image to the darkest points.

When correctly followed, this technique will deliver 3 dimensional imagery without any requirement for 3 dimensional image filtering glasses. The imagery will increase in dimensional effect for light or sound. Cinema and home theatre would benefit from this powerful evolutionary leap forward.

Contrast as a 3 dimesional gradient was first published as a technology in 2025.
