TunshelMesh™ Explosion & Fire Suppressor

A device has been developed to prevent explosion from temperature, electrical or pressure surges or ignition in an otherwise flammable material or substance. It is TunshelMesh™.
Fuel tanks, fuel tankers, aircraft and electronic device batteries are among an inexhaustible number of applications which would benefit from the inclusion of TunshelMesh™. It would also suppress engine exhaust noise, as well as gun fire rifling, exit point, high temperature.
Avoidance of explosion or fire can be achieved when the affected flammable material - solid or fluid - is immersed in or closely surrounded by finely knitted metal or carbide mesh - preferably of the most electrothermally conductive copper carbide.
The very low heat inertia metal carbide absorbs heat and distributes, in all possible directions, so instantly rapidly that it prevents the heat of ignition or detonation from being achieved. No explosion or fire will proceed.
Under the scenario, even a hot, tracer round fired at a fuel drum of aviation fuel with air will not ignite if the internal environment is immersed in the mesh described. The alternative would be place densely knitted, thin diameter cross section, wire mesh on the immediate exterior of the drum. It would absorb the heat of the tracer round.
Only kinetic energy would remain. That would require some armour plating of some type to slow down the round to less than ignition momentum. See TunshelArmour™ in this blogsite.
