In simple terms, the format for direct voltage is constant revolution in one direction of electromagnetic flux through the length of a conducting circuit. Direct current is constant electric spin or rotation perpendicular to quantum revolution.
Voltage is electric revolution. Current is magnetic spin or rotation.
Alternating power sees the voltage or magnetic flux in simple oscillation, accelerating back and forth along the conductive circuit. The time or current rotation oscillates in simple and perpendicular harmonic rotation, clockwise and anticlockwise about the axial core of the circuit conductor.
Current is orthodoxly electric or of the time dimension, and voltage is necessarily magnetic and of the spatial dimension.
