Open source software has been poorly business modelled.

Open source is the most broadly appealing model for all intellectual property businesses. A contract must be acknowledged prior to reading the website. The copyright property is openly described, in synopsis form of function, rather than including development.

To be effective the web platform must only allow customers access via an HTML script - generally in the form of an HTML button, linking the customer to the complete blog posted information.

Place the words, ‘Accept Licence Agreement’ on the button. To click on the button which follows through to the web blogsite, is full contractual signing of the intellectual property agreement, which is a formal or legally binding Deed Of Assignment.

Profits, in the form of roylaties or simply commission percentage, may be clawed back from debtors, by engaging a contract law firm to retrieve the simplest to identify, larger debtors. Only one successful civil litigation claim should be able to finance further claims. Those claims would be coordinated by a law firm, and partnered by a market research firm, on subscription. Market researchers would query the web for products which is clearly derivative of the open source intellectual property (IP). A report of the owners of the IP infringers will be compiled by the marketing company, for the legal team.

Remember to at least include legal costs in settlement agreement. Xerqon bids you the best of fortune in pursuing the financially promising business model.
