For the most complete shareholder protection of their status as legally registered asset owners, directors should be permanently represented as follows. (The goal is to prevent ceding of equity to indefensible claims of any ownership.)

On every public company board and the board of every private company of a minimum of USD 250 million capitalisation, where there is more than one shareholder, there must be at least one, permanent and external proxy director to report to non-institutional equity holders.

The fundamental report must include the monthly asset register for the individual investor. It should be submissive to the national Securities Commission, for review by any purchaser of the report, from the same Commission.

The adoption of the consulting process can accede to a global, Corporate Governance standard if the reports are composed and emailed to portfolio holders, only when witnessed by KPMG, EY, PWC or Deloitte via carbon copy of the report emails being successfully shared simultaneously.

To ensure the success of the process, the default option for new investment applicants is to endorse the portfolio manager as the investment sponsor. That would defer the account risk profile entirely to the well indemnified portfolio manager. The agreement would enable a more consolidated investment approach for that portfolio manager, and for their portfolio holders.

The risk management solution is an opportunity for any of the four consulting firms to co-brand with investment success, in a performance portfolio which would generally offer a far greater percentage of successful companies than Initial Public Offering portfolios, at lower median risk. Successful, low risk strategy delivers sustainable brand value for necessarily low risk consulting firms.
