Outdoor/Perimeter Home Alarm System

Home alarm systems are difficult to use as they do not zone conveniently when the occupant is at home. The better placement of alarm sensors and cameras is immediately outside the house or outside other building perimeters. To prevent scaling of walls, full perimeter coverage is required. Large properties may place the sensors and cameras facing inward from a security, outer perimeter.

The front gate is where the intercom system can be used to request that the alarm be zoned to allow entry to a visitor. Beyond that scenario, the full perimeter is alarm active all day and night. For that reason the alarm should not extend to far. Remember that children often lose balls and other thrown objects over fences and garden walls.

When at home, the occupant has far more accommodative security coverage than with current, interior alarm systems. They are more sensible and more legally defensible.

Give Cujo a rest from legally perilous guard duty, permanently.
