Industry benefits from the following technology by the enabling of information resources managers to separate volumes or indexes of information into a primary index, as subsidiary inexes.
The terms or keys separated by commas, in comma separated variables, are able to be constrained as one variable by comma separating or ‘comma indexing’ them as composite keys.
That is a form of cross tabulation with as many product dimensions as the numbers of individually indexed keys. The composite key. is also known as a compound key.
